Furnished tourist rentals in the 16th district: 2026 regulations

The 16th arrondissement is subject to Paris municipal regulations on furnished tourist accommodation.
  • Annual cap: since January 1, 2025, the rental of a principal residence as a furnished tourist accommodation has been limited to 90 days per year. Airbnb automatically suspends your calendar beyond this threshold. Exceeding it can result in a fine of up to €15,000.
  • Registration number: each tourist rental property must have a 13-digit identifier displayed on all ads. Registration has been handled by Declaloc since May 20, 2026. Failure to do so will result in a €1,500 fine per ad.
  • ECD: G-rated properties have been banned from tourist rentals since 2025. The threshold will be raised to F in 2028.
