Furnished tourist rentals in the 8th district: 2026 regulations

The 8th arrondissement is subject to Parisian municipal regulations governing short-term rentals.
  • Annual cap: renting out a primary residence has been limited to 90 days per year since January 1, 2025. Airbnb automatically suspends your calendar beyond that. Any excess can result in a fine of up to €15,000.
  • Registration number: each meublé de tourisme must have a 13-digit identifier, which must be displayed on all advertisements. Since May 20, 2026, registration has been carried out via the Declaloc platform. Failure to do so will result in a €1,500 fine per advert.
