Renting out furnished tourist accommodation in the 6th arrondissement: 2026 regulations

The 6th arrondissement follows Parisian regulations applicable to furnished tourist rentals.
  • Annual cap of 90 days: since January 2025, the main residence can only be rented out for 90 days a year as a furnished tourist accommodation. Airbnb automatically suspends the schedule beyond that. Failure to comply with this limit is punishable by a fine of up to €15,000.
  • Registration number: all tourist accommodation must have a 13-digit identifier displayed on each advert. Registration has been carried out on Declaloc since May 20, 2026. Failure to comply will result in a €1,500 fine.
  • Minimum EPD: G-rated properties will no longer be eligible for tourist rentals as of 2025. The threshold will be raised to F in 2028, then to E in 2034.
  • Co-ownership vote: the Le Meur law authorizes co-ownerships to prohibit seasonal rentals by a two-thirds vote. We systematically check the situation of your building.
  • Visitor’s tax: deducted from each guest and paid to the City of Paris by Fructifly. No action required on your part.

Since May 2026, declarations have been made via Declaloc, the national platform. You receive a 13-digit number to display on your ads. Fructifly takes care of the entire procedure.
